Him: This is sooooooo nice! I’m going to spread out and chill.
Me: He certainly looks comfortable over there.
Him: I could lay here forever.
Me: He’s been there nearly all morning.
Him: I think I’ll just doze.
Me: I think he’s going to sleep.
Him: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Me: He’s gone to sleep.
Some time later:
Me: He’s still there. Perhaps Carol and I should get a sofa like that for us!
🙂

Yes. Fur-nature means you’re not aloud on it unless you have fur. 😃

Ok. Should have thought of that, but what’s a “niture” being the correct ending of furniture?

(floundering to get out of her spelling debacle…) It’s fur-natural. Humans just changed the spelling to keep animals off of it…. 😉

This is a common occurrence at our place too! Heck, I never have any room to sleep on our bed at night either because one dog is squished up right next to me, while the other one lays between us with their feet up in the air. It makes it rough when I have to get up to pee!

My imagination created a picture which brought a smile to my face. I shall say no more! 🙂

Our Annie takes up a wee bit less space but she enjoys the people furniture just as much. and why not?

Why not indeed! As soon as we invited him into our home, it was a “given” that we would share whatever we had with him. He seemed to catch on to that perspective extremely fast! 🙂

I forgot to add that the bonus for us is that Our Annie doesn’t shed. You have our sympathy. And tell your friends, sweeper bags are a completely appropriate gift.

Agreed! His life may have got off to bit of a shaky start, but he has clearly found his home now. 🙂

Dogs know how to wrap you round their paws don’t they.

Yes…… and when they can do it while sleeping, we’re doomed to a life of serving them. I have had 5 cats, so wouldn’t you think I would have learned about manipulation by an animal? 🙂
