Hi Ann. So many times I have looked at him and wished just that. Because he was originally picked up as a stray, we don’t know whether he was abandoned, or escaped. Regardless, it would appear that nobody cared about him and my thoughts often go to “Does he think that he is being abandoned yet again?” Even in his book, I recount a story in which we have to take him back to our Humane Society for a short time and, leaving him behind, it triggered the same thought “Does he think that he is being abandoned yet again.”
Such sadness in his eyes 😦

He is not too happy at the present. He misses his Mom.

She is making progress, but has a way to go yet before being her “normal self”! 🙂

Good to know that. Praying that she gets back to being herself 🙂

We taught him to make eye contact a long time ago… and he uses it to his best advantage now! 🙂

Poor Ray! Don’t you wish you could explain to him that she will be back?

Wow, that sounds like a load of poop to me. Maybe you could count it in how many meals, or how many overnight sleeps…just sayin’.
