Growing up poor, though not starving, it was a special day when a neighbor or close relative received something in a BIG cardboard box. It then became our spaceship or locomotive or submarine. Imagination overload. Ray has his imaginary work cut out for him with this little container. But I have to admit, he is a striking figure even in such a confined space. Extra treats well deserved.
I can so relate to your childhood Mike! I used to “drive” a spoon around the border pattern on a rug. It could be a car, a motorcycle, or a train.. and even an airplane occasionally. For all the sophistication of today’s toys, I cannot help but think they can be little more than their design, which must surely be stifling otherwise imaginative young minds!
I think my cat had just fainted by looking at this photo. And he must have think …”Oh, damn! What are we cats are going to do next? The dog steal our move!”
LOL
Hee, hee. Ray is probably a tad more hefty than the 20/50 lb. label but just guessing. 😉

Yup. He is just under 80lbs. Probably why he does not fit too well! 🙂

Ha ha! I am surprising he fit in and stayed long enough for you to click 🙂

Yes it does seem to be more of a cat trait, but Ray is …….. well ………. just Ray! 🙂

Was it that silly? Really? Do you have any idea what treats I got to just sit there and do nothing? Woof! Ray.

Thanks for the morning laugh! Maybe he wants to ship himself somewhere. I think the box may be a tad too small though 🙂

So glad you got a laugh to start your day! Ray’s interest in that box was only because treats were a strong possibility if he appeased us! 🙂

Funny…how long did he last in there?

Good question! The answer is “As long as we kept giving him treats!” 🙂
