That Face!

Look at the pic below! It was taken on Feb 1, 2015. Here we are at Jan 30 2017 and no snow on the ground. Doesn’t he look like a dog who is just waiting to play!

Of course he could be just posing for the camera with the belief that treats could be forthcoming, but I prefer to believe that he is thinking up some game to play with the snow. Why have a plush double fur coat unless you are in a climate that really demands such clothing!

We do have a snow storm forecast for tonight and into tomorrow, but we’ll believe that when it happens. In the meantime, we’ll just look at pictures of Ray and dream!

    • Ah yes… shedding! Isn’t that fun! When we first got Ray, he was shedding in huge tufts which we put down to stress. Now, he still sheds in the Spring but it is much more controlled. He is constantly being brushed however, regardless of Season, and that always produces a regular pile of fur (and has helped him to be receptive to being “man-handled”). 🙂

  5. A face only a mother could love. And a father, and a sibling, and an aunt or uncle, and a friend! Or a neighbor, or a stranger, or, well heck – just about anyone in their right mind would love Ray’s awesomely handsome face. BTW hate to burst your bubble but it was the chance of a treats. I know the look very well! 😊

  8. It’s crazy that you don’t have snow up there in Canada! We even had a light snow forecast for overnight last Saturday, but it was a no-show. Or is that no-snow? Of course, there is no such thing as global warming, 🙂
