Ray is not a great fan of heat and humidity and, having a double fur coat, one can understand his attitude. He does however like to chill in an air-conditioned environment so at least, from his perspective, he has a perfectly acceptable workaround on extreme heat days!
He also does love being outside in the garden, where he is equally good at chilling out, so when the temperature drops a few degrees:

He is one very happy dog, who (historically) was in the right place at the right time! The time when he was picked up by the Humane society was the same time that we started looking for a dog to adopt 🙂

I’m with Ray…don’t enjoy the heat or humidity. Would love to be able to enjoy a summer afternoon like Ray-that looks deliciously satisfying!

He could be just wiping stray hairs from near his eyes. He certainly looks very comfortable towards the end where he is motionless for a good few seconds!

It must be wonderful for him (given his very suspect background) to have the sense of security to do that, but it is also wonderful for me… to just watch him doing “his thing”!
