Please read Part 1 before continuing.
For those of you who had your interest aroused by Part 1, there will follow a very brief questionnaire (two questions!) however, there are some conditions attached to this process.
You will need a total of 8 sheets of letter size (approx) paper and a pen/pencil close by, as you will be asked to write down your responses. You will also need a stopwatch or some other timing device as both questions are time sensitive.
To emphasize: Both questions will have a significant time restraint attached to them, because the basis for this process is to get answers which are not contrived, thought through carefully, or otherwise calculated in any way. IMMEDIATE ANSWERS ARE IMPERATIVE.
Of course, you can choose to manipulate if you so wish, but the end results will be meaningless… so what purpose would possibly be served?
“Who are you?” (Part 3) will contain your first of the two questions, so please ensure that you have your paper and pen/pencil, together with a timing device, ready for when you open up the Post to read it. Once you have read the Post, you will have 60 seconds to answer the first question!

Colin, this is fun!
I have a rule question though – I have a hard time handwriting because I shattered my right wrist a few years ago – came backward off a rearing horse – and between that and the fibro, my wrist and arm get very mad at me if I try to write to much.
Can I have a computer accommodation instead and still be within rules?

Absolutely! The important things are to be spontaneous, and record your answer(s). They do NOT have to be handwritten. 🙂

My interest is piqued a bit more with this post, will continue this journey as it unfolds. I was reminded of these words after reading yesterday’s post, but decided against including them then. Since they are still hovering in my mind: “Before you find out who you are, you have to figure out who you aren’t” – Iyanla VanZant. Thank-you!

Hi Ellen – Yes… an interesting quote. My immediate thought was to challenge it on the basis that both factors must be considered at the same time, otherwise decisions are being made “in a vacuum”. I need to ponder that quote a little more! 🙂

I have to agree that this is true for me, but I think, going back to Colin’s initial post, for many, figuring out who you aren’t can be just as difficult as figuring out who you are.

OH you do know how to arouse one’s curiosity don’t you! I want to ask what you are up to…but I can guess your response to that. 8 sheets of paper, but only 2 questions? Or is there a Part 4 with more questions?
Yes, I already know the answer to the last question, ” Wait and See!” So of course my “patient” mind will do just that. 🙂

Be patient. It is all very valid but, if instructions are not followed, will serve no purpose. Spontaneity is critical, which is why I am making it perfectly clear how it is to be done in order to serve a purpose. If you plan on participating, then just make sure that you have everything ready because you will get Part 3/Question 1 tomorrow, and you only have 60 seconds to answer the question from the moment your read it. Take longer and you void the rationale behind the process.
