Review from amazon.com:
“A dog leaves paw prints on the heart that last forever!” This heartwarming story of the bond created between a German Shepherd and the owner he chose will keep you turning the pages. It will make you cry; for did you know that dogs can sob? And it will make you laugh, Houdini is no match for Ray! Most of all it will make you fall in love with a German Shepherd who was given a second chance at life, thanks to a very patient and caring human, Colin. If you are a dog lover you will want to add this book to your collection! And if not a dog lover, you may just change your mind after reading this!! Find out what you are missing!”
One spoilt pooch right there…love the blanket.

He certainly is a very different dog now compared to when he initially adopted me! (The full story is in the book!).

It certainly is, and reviews apparently mean a lot to the average book purchaser so I really appreciate all of them.

He is a very entertaining individual now. I so remember his claw marks down my chest, when he was not to entertaining!

Yes, much easier. Having two sets of parallel red lines down one’s chest is quite memorable, as is looking into a large open mouth full of teeth lunging at you(me). That was my introduction to Ray exhibiting “startle response”!

That’s a kind of introduction that you really don’t want to repeat twice!

Well, if you recall from the book, it took me two times to “get the message”! 🙂

I had forgotten that. I guess you can be glad that it didn’t take 3 times. 🙂

I love dogs too but I always worked so cats were easer. Then when I retired I already had cats so I kept getting more. They are addictive.
