The heat and humidity have gone and, typically, our Fall will be quite short. Putting that another way, much colder temperatures and snow are not too far away now! What a great opportunity to include some time at the lake particularly when, on a “Ray walk”, these trails may not be maintained too well during the Winter months.
Ray just loves his time there and, while access to the water can be complicated, he knows where to go so he can paddle around. This day (earlier this week), Lake Ontario was very quiet so there were no waves worth biting. but he had fun anyway. On our way home we stopped at our local Tim Hortons and ordered two lattes and one plan TimBit. You can probably figure out who got what!
Looks like a great spot for a walk 🙂

It is lovely in all seasons. Lake Ontario, being as big as it is, can produce some pretty awesome waves, and influences our local weather. It’s always interesting! 🙂

So close to the lake, that is wonderful. Our Fall lasted about 9 days this year. Tonight the wind is talking and there is a cold drizzle blowing sidways.

Hi Ron. When the wind talks like that, it’s a good idea to listen. 🙂

Such a beautiful scenery. I loved fall in that area. I wish I could have had a Tim Horton’s coffee with all of you.

You are so lucky to be within walking distance of a lake. I find it so soothing. How did Ray like his latte? 🙂

A pumpkin spice Latte? 🙂

Too much junk in it! Just a regular wonderful latte. To date, I have had no heart problems whatsoever, and am in a healthy weight range for my height. I fully intend to keep respecting my body accordingly! For your info, a Pumpkin Spice latte at Starbucks = 380cals (120 from fat); 240g salt; 50 gr of sugar. 🙂

My wallet thanks you too, but my taste buds aren’t too sure. LOL! 🙂

Your taste buds are stimulated by salt and sugar (and many other things), but they cannot accept responsibility for your health. That’s where the brain is supposed to take charge. 🙂

Yes the brain does have a rather important job doesn’t it! A good thing that I have a good one, eh! 🙂
