In March of this year, I posted a link to Fleetwood Mac performing “Silver Springs”. I was recently browsing my rather large collection of favorite songs, and came across Stevie Nicks giving her own performance of “Rhiannon”. Written by Stevie Nicks, and released by Fleetwood Mac in 1975 … here she is still putting energy into it over 30 years (2008 performance) later!

Hi Sparkyjen, and welcome to my Blog. I hope you’ll drop by again when you have some free time and browse around. As for your love of piano? I have so much in my music library from classical to popular, from “dreamscapes” to just simply emotional moments. If we can expand the keyboard love to include electronic, then that just about doubles my interest in keyboards! Many thanks for taking a few moments out of your life to comment. š

I have no doubt that music can have some remarkable impact on peoples lives. It can certainly create a whole range of emotions and, as our body chemistry can change with emotions, who knows what is possible? “If music be the food of love … play on!”

Loved this song. I recall many a road trip and whenever this came on the radio belting it (not nearly as in tune as Ms. Nicks mind you) as loud as possible cruising on down the road. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

What a great performance, she gave and a song I hadn’t heard before but that I enjoyed. I will have to play it for Brad when he comes home. He probably has heard it though. Oh, and just a extra thought, I think Stevie would make the Welsh feel proud with her performance. š

Brad will almost certainly know it. It was a very popular Fleetwood Mac song.

Being that Brad is much more knowledgeable than me when it comes to music , you are probably right. š

Yes you were right.
He only had to hear the first few chords of the song and he was like oh that’s Stevie Nicks singing Rhiannon! He does that so often!

I am surprised at how strong she can still project her voice. She has to be “getting up there” in age now! š
