This has to be an all time classic from Jefferson Airplane in the 1960s! Even my daughter, a generation later, heard it and fell in love with it (and Grace Slick’s vocals). Enjoy!

Your choice is absolutely brilliant! 🙂 Love the melody… “And call Alice, when she was just small”

A classic from well before your time! 🙂

Haha, time is such a misleading concept. What matters is that I could connect to this melody through your post, Colin 🙂

Mine too George. It reflected the era very well, and Grace Slick’s presentation of it was amazing. Glad you enjoyed it.

Glad you liked it Monika. Of course you just dated yourself … but that’s okay as clearly I am in good company! 🙂

Old as the hills and proud of it. Growing up in the 60’s made me what I am today. 😊

Being 1946 vintage, I am a little ahead of you … but not by much! 🙂

A classic reminder of flower power; psychedelic experiences; “Ban the Bomb” marches, and all that stuff! 🙂

Yes indeed and getting in to trouble with the Nuns for having the White Rabbit lyrics in my R. E. Book.💜💜

Ooooooooooh ……. what a rebel! My daughter (also a rebel as a teen) used to bring “waifs and strays” home to meet us, and some stayed! You’re in good hands here as I am used to rebels! Have a great day Willow. 🙂

This is a better version – vocally and visually – https://youtu.be/R_raXzIRgsA

Thanks Grace. I reviewed quite a few versions, including the one you proposed, and made my ultimate decision based on the quality of the sound recording together with Grace Slick’s rendition. She was very inconsistent in how she presented that song. It comes down to personal taste of course, but I am still happy with the version originally posted. 🙂

After all, how can I not like a song that has to do with falling down a hole! She has quite the adventures when she falls down a hole!

It is a classic Colin, and one Hubby put on a personal selection to listen to in the car. Great track.
