Being the last song to be posted here before Christmas ….. what else but my favorite Carol presented by my favorite choir! This is a small group from the choir Libera. Enjoy!

Beautiful Colin. I remember singing this as a solo at school.
Merry Christmas and all the best for the coming year. Hugs and treats by proxy to Ray.

I don’t know how angels sound, but these boys do remind me of angel voices. Amazing! Such a beautiful version.

Hi Erika. The purity of their sound is quite amazing. They have a number of albums/cds available and, interestingly enough, one is actually titled “Angel Voices”! 🙂

… and to you and Mrs TG! Try and stay out of trouble eh! 🙂

You do realize what a tremendously big thing you are asking of Tippy when you tell him to stay out of trouble, right? 🙂

I also have tremendous faith in him! It’s you I worry about. I cannot think of anybody else who, when given a clue like “quiet night” for a Christmas Carol, would not come up with “Silent Night”! 🙂

Haha! Perhaps it may have something to do with the fact that when one is not used to such obvious clues they can’t help but to overlook the obvious! But I do believe I did come up with “Silent Night” after a bit, making my 2nd hit. Just saying. 🙂

With a clue like “Quiet Night”? Yeh right! 🙂

Yup, it counts! It may have been an easy hit this time but I do believe I earned that due to my hard efforts in the past. So 2 hits it is and the 3rd is just a week away. 🙂

I’m always very good this time of year. I have to impress the man at the North Pole.

Ummm….I would say something, bur I think there is a Law of Holes that talks about being silent. 🙂

I think you’re just worried about what you might find in your Christmas stocking.

Maybe she’ll get a Christmas Shovel?

I hope so. She’s about worn out her old one.

Well I do believe I wore out my shovel due to ALOT of Help from certain people whose names I won’t mention. 🙂

Mmm…maybe the “silent” part won’t last too long!

I forgot to put it on my list, so guess not!

Sorry, a shovel won’t fit in my stocking and none of the packages under the tree look big enough for a shovel either. Perhaps Santa gave you and Tippy a shovel instead!

They do a beautiful job with this song! Thanks for sharing, this is also one of my favorite carol’s. It is one of the first Christmas carol’s that I learned all the words to when I was very young and I just love the peaceful feeling of the quiet night that the song brings.
Silent Night and Away in the Manger are the 2 carols that I would often sing to my children in December before bed, when they were little.
I love “O Holy Night” as well, but that’s a little trickier of a song to sing. 🙂

I too like “Oh Holy Night”, and have a wonderful version by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. 🙂

That is another great choir, that I have listened to before, but don’t know if I heard them doing “Oh Holy Night.” I really like Celine Dion’s version and the Celtic Women’s one.

You have to hear MTC’s rendition. I’ll send it to you. 🙂
