This video was a chance encounter on YouTube! I found the video clips fascinating, and recognized a lot of faces … which I have no doubt you (who are around my age) will to. Those of you that are a lot younger? I would love to know what you made of the whole thing!
I loved this! Thankyou for sharing.

What a fun video! I liked how the dance steps all seemed to match the song, which I remember well from the 80’s. And yes, I recognized many of the dancers….dating myself there!

Ahhh, what a wonderful video montage. I’m in awe of people who can compile something like this. And it brought forth sooo many memories, especially the Fred and Ginger routines. I’m going to save the video to watch again and again. It’s also inspired me find some of those old movies to stream.

Hi Barb. I’ve watched it quite a few times now! Perhaps it’s just nostalgia during stressful times? Perhaps it’s simply the showmanship back then? Regardless, it is very entertaining. ๐

That was a fun listen. I vaguely remember that tune from way back in the 80s.

Yes it (the song) was back then, but did you remember the dancers from sooooooo much earlier? ๐

Many of them looked familiar, though I couldn’t always place the names. The old dance styles looked familiar, also.

I bet you knew the names of Laurel and Hardy, right? ๐

Absolutely. Our birthday celebrations (My older sister and I were born on the same day, albeit 3 years apart), always included some early B & W Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin movies! ๐

Sounds like fun times! I didn’t watch Charlie Chaplin but do remember watching Laurel and Hardy and The 3 Stooges. ๐

Yes, and I recognized them. I hadn’t seen them in a long, long time.

I figured “Frank and George” would know them pretty well. ๐

I loved the whole thing. It must have taken someone hours to compile all of that video and time it.
That, was back in a time when you had to have talent, and work to be in entertainment. Now you just have to be attractive, and there are times when even that won’t help the acting.

I an currently appalled at the acting in so many TV commercials. It certainly doesn’t make me decide to try the product! ๐
