“Legend of a Mind” (aka “Timothy Leary”)

My favourite band from the 60’s and 70’s was undoubtedly The Moody Blues. Their 1968 album “In Search of the Lost Chord” included many excellent tracks, but Legend of a Mind stood out because of its structure. I particularly loved the ending where they go from a slow flute solo, to a decisive percussion beat supported by a Mellotron, and harmonized vocals. Enjoy.

    • You’re referencing Timothy Leary’s life? I wonder how he saw it, given that his life was so controversial One must assume that he believed in everything he represented even though he was so often at odds with the status quo. He will certainly be remembered long after you and I have been forgotten, but I am not sure that I would want to generate those kinds of memories.
