Who are you? (Part 3)

Please read Parts 1 & 2 before proceeding otherwise this exercise serves no purpose.

Take a pen/pencil and one sheet of paper. Get your timer ready.

If you scroll down just to take a peek at the question, you will have invalidated the wholeΒ  process because it is 100% dependent on spontaneous answers. Once you know the question, your mind will start thinking about the answers hence they must be immediately written down, and stopped at the end of the allotted time.

Are you now ready to scroll down to the question and start writing your answers?

Question 1. WITHIN 60 SECONDS – write down the names (only the names) of up to 6 people (no more than 6) that you admire. They can be anybody – living or dead.

Stop after 60 seconds regardless of the outcome.

IMPORTANT:Β  Some of you will be tempted to review your answers before seeing Part 4, and will no doubt come up with some additions. This exercise becomes meaningless once you expand on your original responses.

  1. I had 4 names written on the paper when I bumped the timer with my elbow and it flew off the desk. I tried to catch the thing and missed. Hardwood floors are unforgiving! My dilemma…add the other 2 names or just leave it with the 4 written down? Any thoughts? Thank-you!

    • Leave it at 4 Ellen unless you know what the other 2 names were when the timer took flight. Failing that, leave it at 4 otherwise you will sacrifice the spontaneity aspect which is very important.
