I linked to a Lisa Gerrard recording on November 11, 2017**, and copied a comment about her style as ““She sings in a euphonic and emotional pseudo-language”. This is one of her more well known recordings, being a part of the “Gladiator” movie sound track. Enjoy.
Emotional and beautiful music and cinematography. I will have to watch this again.

Glad you enjoyed it Angeline. There is so much beautiful music “out there” that I don’t hear on the radio! 🙂

I’ve gone the Pandora route. Pretty much anything you choose.

That is an interesting route to go, but isn’t it USA only?

I hadn’t realized that Pandora was just available in the USA but it appears you are right . Apparently it was available in Australia and New Zealand before but not anymore. It is fun to listen to.

I am not familiar with Pandora, but we do have access to music libraries. My preference is to have my music on my laptop. I do not have to pay any charges once I have the music, and I am not dependent on either an internet connection nor a 3rd Party. Perhaps it’s just my age, but there seems to be many benefits for creating ones own music library.

Oh ones own music library is the way to go, Brad will agree with you there . 🙂 Pandora is free. Well you can pay for it if you don’t want commercials but there isn’t near as many commercials as the radio so I just put up with it. Either I have that on when I am on the computer or I have a CD playing. 🙂

I never saw this movie, but this was an emotional clip! Her beautiful voice with its unique style fits the scenes so well. I had recognized her name, but wasn’t sure why, until I read your comment about her “emotional pseudo-language” I smiled as I remembered commenting on how I could I identify somewhat with using “pseudo language”. 🙂

I loved this, and enjoyed the film. This is another track Hubby put on USB key for the car.
