For all the popular songs in the UK in 1960, there was not one that made a huge impact on me at 14! This is not intended to take anything away from The Everly Brothers, The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Lonnie Donegan … and so the list goes on with artists releasing some really nice sounds. Ha! I was 4 when this came out Colin. My parents went to a show in Bournemouth for their anniversary and Rolf Harris sang to them as they danced in the aisle. It was a happy memory for them.

I love the guy’s acting, in this music video. What a strange but catchy tune. I think the song tries to name the entire menagerie of Australian animals.
