A lot of the 60’s and 70’s songs were considered “social conscience” songs in that they hit on the flaws in society. Some upbeat songs were necessary otherwise it would be depressing (as is todays TV news which gives us nothing but shootings and COVID issues. Some good news would be nice!).
Hadn’t heard this one before but it is a nice, upbeat song. A lot of the old songs were upbeat. 🙂
