Other than to mention that Jacob Moon is a local musician, and the rooftop is in Hamilton, Ont., … I am not saying anything except one man, one guitar and a collection of electronics = quite the sound. Enjoy!

I like his kind of gentle style, which at the same time can be intense. Good singer.

Yes, unlike many we could name who have questionable singing ability, he does sing well. He also plays guitar well and, if you are familiar with a “looper” … he uses that remarkably well.

It’s a wonderful machine which records in a loop. i.e. as soon you stop recording into it, it plays it back .. and again .. and again. Here is KT Tunstall using a multi-track looper!

Ahh! Well that makes sense for it to be called a “looper.” I was thinking that perhaps it was a nickname for some kind of stringed instrument. 🙂

Another new artist to me. Broadening my music repertoire, one artist at a time. He has a great voice and I enjoyed watching him play the guitar. I wonder if he has other instruments he plays too. Performing from a rooftop is a fun, unique place for a concert. Have you seen him perform before? Jason loved going up on our roof, not to play music, but to have a quiet place to go to and think. .

Yes we’ve seen Jacob Moon a couple of times. He tours Canada but I am not sure whether he has ever been outside our borders. He is a Christian singer, and he and his wife adopted an orphaned girl from a S. American country. (re his song “Sarah”) An all around nice guy! 🙂

That is great that you guys have seen him perform live. Just watching him gave me the impression that he would be a nice guy to talk to. You made me all the more ntrigued now to look up some of his other songs. I will start with “Sarah”. 🙂
