Given the divisive politics in the US, and the fact that it would appear to be coming a trend outside that country, I am linking back to a Post from September 2017. We should all spend a few moments in front of a mirror. Look into those eyes that are looking back at you, and ask “Who are you? Why are you the way you are? Do I love you?”
The text of the Post linked below may well be enlightening however, remember that not one of us is without flaws, and we always have the option to change if we so wish.
That is definitely food for thought, Colin… who am I …

It seems to come down to “If I don’t understand me, how can I possibly understand you!”

It was good to read this again and you are right about it being timely right now.
When will we be able to look at someone and see their heart? Not their skin tone, or something else about them that we perceive as wrong, but just simply see their heart.

That’s the whole point isn’t it? We seem to default to superficial aspects of others in order to make decisions, and that is not only so wrong … but is also an extremely inefficient process. Who knows what wonderful people we might not be meeting because of skin color, dress style, religious belief, their current status, tattoos, music taste, political belief, etc. etc.
