Like so many songs from the past, their relevance in the social conscience context has not diminished over time. This song would seem to be just as relevant today as it was in 1992 when released, which makes a sad statement about us as a species! I guess we just have to accept that, within our species, there will always be people who are only interested in themselves, and will do anything/exploit anybody, in order to further that interest. Yes, I agree that this song is relevant in the world today. “Wars come easy, peace comes hard”….Sadly so true! May be a sad song, but Buffy has a great voice to listen to! There is a bright side. 🙂
