In Update 1, I introduced you to the Front Cover. A small thing…. but visually very significant for trying to communicate that “pick me up and read more” message!
The Back Cover was created at the same time however, there needed to be a few changes made, which have now been done. Below is how the front and rear covers now look:
The whole text of the book has been going through revisions constantly for the past 6 months and is now at a point where Friesen Press have set it up in their software to finalize the “look “ re font style and sizing, positioning and contrasts of text boxes, and generally making it attractive and comfortable to read in both hard copy and eBook formats.
I have been estimating a March availability for some time now but, given that final stages are in progress (although there are still quite a few stages remaining before publication), I asked Friesen Press what would typically be the remaining time before publishing. The answer – about a month!
It looks like March is still on! 🙂
Although I’m waaaay behind in blog readings, March is pretty close so way to hang in there. Good luck! ღ

Stay tuned to this Blog and as soon as I know that it is available, I will be “shouting it from the mountain tops”. I may even post a couple of excerpts from the book over the next few weeks. I think that you’ll like them 🙂

Absolutely FANTASTIC summary and bios. You are an incredible person, Colin. Not just for what you did for Ray but what you have done and continue to do for the shelter and the other organizations you are a part of. I’m proud to call you a friend. ~Samantha
Noodle: Ummm…HELLO?!?! This is MY blog, Mom. I would like to tell Ray something.

Hi Noodle: Ray is snoring his head off just behind me at the moment and, as he does not like being woken up, I’ll pass your message on later. 🙂
