“Maya Gold”

I have loved Mike Oldfield’s recordings, from his initial “Tubular Bells”, to the “Orchestrated Tubular Bells”, to “Tubular Bells II” .. not forgetting “Ommadawn” and a number of others! Today is a link to an excerpt from “Tubular Bells II” calledΒ  Maya Gold. Given the structure of his recordings (often a continuous flow between pieces), this piece does end during the transition to the next track, but it is still a lovely easy going few minutes. Enjoy!

Good stuff. Oldfield is always an interesting listen. I like Jean-Michel Jarre. His older stuff, to me, is great. I like the irony of something being electronic and technical being so smooth and relaxing.

Seeing a music post from you made me smile, before I even listened. Now, I know its Saturday. πŸ™‚ It was lovely to listen to, a relaxing start to the day, wasn’t ready for it to end.
