I have loved Mike Oldfield’s recordings, from his initial “Tubular Bells”, to the “Orchestrated Tubular Bells”, to “Tubular Bells II” .. not forgetting “Ommadawn” and a number of others! Today is a link to an excerpt from “Tubular Bells II” called Maya Gold. Given the structure of his recordings (often a continuous flow between pieces), this piece does end during the transition to the next track, but it is still a lovely easy going few minutes. Enjoy!
Thank you for a sweet pause in the day.

Good stuff. Oldfield is always an interesting listen. I like Jean-Michel Jarre. His older stuff, to me, is great. I like the irony of something being electronic and technical being so smooth and relaxing.

Music like that, with all the resonating tones, clears my sinuses. Thanks for the relaxing moment.

It’s a lovely track Colin. Both of us love the Tubular Bells albums.

Great music to relax to, and just let go of the world for a while. 🙂

Seeing a music post from you made me smile, before I even listened. Now, I know its Saturday. 🙂 It was lovely to listen to, a relaxing start to the day, wasn’t ready for it to end.

I needed a peaceful start. Not only is my laptop toast, but it looks like our printer has just gone the same way!

Oh gosh! Sorry! Makes me think of when our refrigerator stopped working and it wasn’t that much longer until our stove quit as well!

Yes they do tend to gang-up like that. 🙂

Hopefully nothing more will gang up on you! Our wash machine started making funny noises around that time as well. I yelled at it and am sure I must have scared it for so far it has behaved! 🙂
