Quite a while ago now, I posted a link to a Buffy Sainte-Marie song, and not only was it well received (as it should be), but I also received a thank you from her … for loving her songs. She has had a remarkable musical career, and I have been a fan from way back in England in the mid-1960s.
This is another one of my favourites. It is such a sensitive song and Buffy Sainte-Marie captures the emotions of the moment so well. I just love it! Enjoy!

Have I understood this right? The singer contacted and thanked you? So, that is amazing. Her voice is special in a very beautiful way.

A lovely, sentimental song by a singer with a great voice. Listening to her soothing voice, made me want to go to sleep again and dream. 🙂

Yes I have quite a lot of Leonard Cohen, although some of his songs lose me a little. Jennifer Warnes did an album of his work (“Famous Blue Raincoat”) which is excellent. 🙂
