Well it had to happen! Those three eggs*** turned into three kids for Dad to take care of, possibly while Mom is out looking for food!
I wish I could take credit for the pic but, I can’t. It was all Carol’s work!

We are very fortunate in their choice of nesting places. 🙂

You know what they say about the three important elements to real estate….location, location, location.

That’s fine, but Mr & Mrs Cardinal did not pick the best of places for raising kids …. as you will see on Thursday! 🙂

Great pic. Looks like a singing trio, those babies with their mouths open! LOL. 🙂

I don’t think that is exactly singing! 🙂

Wait until Thursday! You will be in for a surprise of the “undesirable kind”!

Oh no. Can’t even begin to imagine what lies ahead.

We of course know … but are also wondering what “lies ahead”.

What a great shot! A woman can get the job done right! LOL! Thanks to both of you for the picture. I hope Mama gets back soon with the food. Poor Dad may have a lot of squealing to listen too. 🙂

Well I think Carol did a great job with the camera. I’m sure it will be amazing how fast those little birds will grow up. Before you know it, you’re gonna have empty nest syndrome.

Empty nest? Yes. Syndrome? No. 🙂

I used to be dreading the empty nest syndrome. Now with this quarantine …. well….. LOL!

So, are some of your kids still living at home (unfortunately)?

You mean the little birdie ones, or the human ones?

I meant that question for Carolyn, but what the heck, how about yours? I know the little birdie ones are home, so what about the human ones?

HiTG – I wondered about your question, but the notification that I got did not show Carolyn’s Comment … but rather my original Post text. Go figure! Anyway … my two are on the West coast so I only get to see them once/year! 🙂

Heh-heh. This is why I prefer to blog from my desktop computer. That’s quite a distance to be separated from your kids. Do you miss them, or do you like this arrangement?
LikeLiked by 1 person
To be totally honest … both. I do miss not seeing them and face-to-face gabbing about stuff. It is nice, however, that I only hear what they tell me, so I don’t get caught up in their day to day challenges. Would prefer to have them about an hour drive away rather than 5 hour flight but …. ! 🙂

That can be a bummer, those long distances from loved ones.

Yes … but they both had their reasons to move (just as we had ours for emigrating to Canada). It would not have been right to stand in the way of their dreams.

True. People are more enjoyable when you let them have their freedom, in my view.

It’s nothing more complicated than treating people the way you would like to be treated. Sadly, so many just don’t get it!

Ha Ha! They are good kids. Colin met them, he can verify. 🙂 But yes, they are both at home. One starts college in the Fall but the college is closeby so he will be staying home to save money. My daughter is working and waiting for her boyfriend to get out of college. 🙂
There just was a time when I could have the house to myself during the day at times and now ….!

Exactly! Plus now you know what causes me to have spelling mistakes. Many times I am typing my blog post as everyone is around me chattering! Now you know!

You’re like me. Easily distracted. I go nuts when everyone around me is chattering. That’s okay, your misspellings are helping me to expand my vocabulary with new words I’ve never encountered before.

I was going to say Thanks for seeing it my way! Than reading about your new vocabulary….welll…yeah you are welcome!
Actually I can tune people out pretty well! 🙂

What a load of %&%(&%*^$!!!! You were making those mistakes way back when Odessa was a figment of our imaginations! Blaming the kids?? Shame on you! 🙂
