Ray – The Book update 7
Just imagine walking along a wooded trail that followed a creek/river. Now imagine that trail elevated such that tree tops are considerably below you. Imagine looking off to one side of the trail and realizing what a spectacular view would have been possible except for the shrubs and trees which partially blocked the view. Dog Discrimination
Comments about Ray being allowed (or not) into stores, and other businesses, has come up a number of times during the “life” of this Blog. Here in Oakville, I guess we are fortunate in that our bank, all the pet supplies stores, Lululemon, Ten Thousand Villages and one or two other places will allow Ray inside. Restaurants and cafes are sacred ground due to Provincial legislation which limits access to “Service dogs” only. Continue reading
A minor setback!
I had some banking business to attend to so we all went to the bank and Ray, predictably, had a bounce in his step once he knew where we were going. Upon entering the bank, he went straight to the Service Desk, obviously intent on meeting his friend there who loves him and gives him biscuits but, this time, she was not there. Continue reading
