Poor Ray!

A couple of days ago we headed out on our regular afternoon walk with Ray and, as we had not been to Lululemon for quite a while, decided to let Ray take us there… which of course he did. There was only a water bowl outside (no biscuit bowl!) and Ray was clearly perturbed as he looked all around for it. He decided that he needed to go into the store and get this obvious oversight resolved! Continue reading

Where is she?

The first pic below is Ray’s typical position soon after Carol has gone somewhere; if the neighbor’s car moves (we share a driveway); if somebody uses our driveway to turn around, or any other event which Ray feels that he needs to monitor! Continue reading

“The Look”!

Ray has recently developed an interesting facial expression which, when accompanied by a head tilt, is very endearing… and leaves us wondering (yet again) what is going on in that German Shepherd/Rotti head of his! Continue reading

The Shih Tzu!

Ray has, over a considerable amount of time, convinced himself that not all dogs are a cause for concern. He has also appeared to have developed a quite sensitive strategy when greeting other dogs, based on his perception of them.  Continue reading

Ray Power No.3!

Whenever I write a Post about the power that Ray appears to have over people, I am always left with the thought that he will no doubt surprise me again. In contrast however, when I reflect on how broad his area of manipulation is, I cannot see how he could possibly surprise me further… but he did! Continue reading
