“A Man, a Dog, …”

“Just Thinking” is a book of simple poetry (even I could understand it!) that was published a few years ago.  The subjects covered include a dog, volunteerism, troubled relationships, people of the street, and just so many other perspectives on life. Continue reading

“Dandelion Wine”

The first time (and all subsequent times) I heard this song, my thought was “What a wonderful way to end a concert.” Continue reading

Good grass!

Ray has not been particularly active this past summer. I am guessing that having a thick double-coat in hot and humid conditions is a significant factor. Who knows what impact his tumor had on him earlier and, of course, he is not getting any younger. Continue reading

“Streets of London”

Remember Ray?

I thought “Remember Ray” a good subject line because you haven’t heard much about him recently (apart from his surgery). Come to think of it, you haven’t heard much from me in general! Continue reading

“Come Talk to Me”

Other than to mention that Jacob Moon is a local musician, and the rooftop is in Hamilton, Ont., … I am not saying anything except one man, one guitar and a collection of electronics = quite the sound. Continue reading

I am, you are, we are … (?)

It would seem that the politicians who are instrumental in maintaining democracy are using divisive politics (divide and  conquer strategy) to simply further their personal agenda, as well as the agendas of those who support them. Continue reading
