We just recognized Ray’s 8th year with us (that’s 8 years of us not having a life unless he is included), which translates into him being about 10-1/2 years old now. Doesn’t time just fly when you’re having fun.  🙂

The Snow Pile!

Snowflakes can come visiting at any time now, although I rather hope that I can have a few more weeks without them. It’s not that I don’t like the snow, but rather once it starts it never seems to go away. Every new snow fall layers itself very carefully on top of the last one and with the continual accumulations, together with some very low temperatures, I am generally wishing for spring weather by March. This is guaranteed not to happen, but I can dream! Continue reading

The good neighbour

Carol and I took Ray out for a walk the other evening, but this time we needed to go over the road to give a neighbour a thank you card and book for allowing us to park on her driveway while ours was having a make-over! Ray has ongoing issues with people he does not know very well, the reasons for which can only be speculated upon however, we are working on it and he is responding quite well to the concept that people = treats.
